Sušić Family
Your hosts during your stay in Cres will be Eta and Bruno together with their two sons Franko and Matija and daughter-in-law Nina as well as their grandson Pjer.
Eta is the matron of the house - she holds the three corners as we like to say in Croatia. Eta is principally involved in accommodation, so should you need an extra large pot or do not have a hair-dryer, Eta is the person! In addition, ask Eta about recipes for typical local specialities, when is best to pick zucchinis and advice for buying local products such as fish, calamaris and lamb.
Bruno, the patron, is a professional fisherman and "all in one" type of person. If your car broke down or you would like to try the local wine or grappa, he is there to help you. Should you want to know how to fish scampi or what are the best beaches around, ask Bruno. Upon renovation of his boat, we can arrange for you to have Bruno take you to the unreachable beaches and sights which can only be seen via sea.
Nina & Franko will help you with all organisational questions you might have. Nina is the main contact person for information on availability and bookings - you can contact her in the language of your preference. Franko is the person to ask for advice on underwater fishing, any maritime licences you might want or need to have, as well as all questions regarding olive oil production.
Pjer & Matija are our main animators. Should you have children, do not hesitate to let Pjer show them around the house and garden - he can teach them how to pick vegetables and show them Bruno's collection of turtles. Matija is your person for all questions regarding events in and around Cres whether it be local feasts, cooking competitions or nightlife.
